IndiGo Launches Direct Flights from Rewa to Indore
IndiGo Airlines started new flights that go directly from Rewa to Indore.
Before, it took almost 10 hours to travel between these two places, but now it only takes about 1.5 hours.
This is good news because it will help people travel more easily for things like visiting family, going to school, or seeing doctors.
It will also help more people visit important religious places like Ujjain and Omkareshwar.
Some important people from the government were on the first flight, and they were happy about this new connection.
Rewa is now the sixth place in Madhya Pradesh that IndiGo flies to.
IndiGo launched two direct daily flights between Rewa and Indore, reducing travel time from 10 hours to 1.5 hours.
Rewa is IndiGo's sixth destination in Madhya Pradesh, joining Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur, and Khajuraho.
MP Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla and State Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya were among the passengers on the inaugural flights.
The new flight route is expected to boost tourism, trade, healthcare, and education opportunities in the Vindhya region.
The connection is anticipated to increase religious tourism in Ujjain and Omkareshwar.
