Indian Archers Shine at Asian Championships, Securing Top Spots
Indian archers had a great start to the Asian Archery Championships in Bangladesh.
A new archer named Yashdeep Bhoge surprised everyone by finishing first in the men's recurve qualification, even beating archers from South Korea.
Another new archer, Anshika Kumari, also did very well, finishing in the top five for the women's recurve.
In the compound archery, which is a different type of archery, Indian women were the best, with Deepshikha leading the way.
Indian men in compound archery also performed strongly, with Abhishek Verma taking second place.
These strong performances have made people hopeful that India will win medals in this competition, especially since the recurve team hasn't won a medal in a while.
