Chimmukla Ghass Foundation Feeds Pune’s Forgotten
Santosh Gupta started the Chimmukla Ghass Foundation to feed people who have nowhere to go.
It began with 30 food packets a day and now gives out 100 packets daily in different parts of Pune.
The foundation also helps with blankets, raincoats, and medical care.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, they gave out 1,300 packets a day.
They have saved lives, like an electrical engineer who was abandoned by his family and is now working again.
The foundation wants to expand to more areas and start new projects like shelters and a suicide helpline.
They need more volunteers and funds to make these projects happen.
Chimmukla Ghass Foundation, started by Santosh Gupta, feeds 100 people daily in Pune.
The foundation provides food, blankets, raincoats, and medical aid to the homeless and destitute.
During the pandemic, they distributed 1,300 food packets daily with the help of a local hotel.
They have saved lives, including an abandoned electrical engineer who is now employed again.
The foundation plans to expand to Pimpri-Chinchwad and start new projects like shelters and a suicide helpline.
