Rajasthan to Launch Automated Driving Test Tracks in 20 Cities
Maruti Suzuki is working with the Rajasthan government to make it easier and fairer to get a driver's license.
They're building special testing areas called Automated Driving Test Tracks (ADTTs) in 20 cities.
These tracks use cameras and computers to grade tests, so it's less likely for mistakes or unfairness to happen.
The new system will be used for those applying for two-wheeler and light motor vehicle licenses.
Maruti Suzuki has already set up similar tracks in other states.
This project is part of Maruti Suzuki's effort to help the community, and will use computerised, rule-based tests as per the Central Motor Vehicle Rules.
Maruti Suzuki will set up 21 Automated Driving Test Tracks in 20 Rajasthan cities.
The ADTTs will use cameras, sensors, and IT systems for testing.
Tests will follow Central Motor Vehicle Rules and aim to eliminate bias.
The project is a collaboration between Maruti Suzuki and the Rajasthan Transport Department.
Funding comes from Maruti Suzuki's corporate social responsibility program.
