Ashika Ranganath's cousin dies by suicide
Achala Harsha, the 22-year-old cousin of Kannada actor Ashika Ranganath, died by suicide at a relative's house in Puttenahalli on November 22.
Achala was in a relationship with Mayank Gowda, who allegedly cheated on her with another woman.
When Achala confronted him, Gowda allegedly harassed her physically, mentally, and sexually under the pretext of marriage.
Based on the complaint filed by Achala's father, the police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against Gowda and his mother.
The investigation is ongoing, but no arrests have been made yet.
