India lose 2-4 to England in Hockey World Cup
The Indian men's hockey team played a big game called the Hockey World Cup.
They played against England in a place called Amstelveen.
England scored the first goal, but India scored two goals to go ahead.
Then England scored three more goals in the second half.
In the end, England won the game 4-2.
India had won their first game against Wales 3-1.
Now India has three points from two games.
They have one more game against Pakistan on Wednesday.
If India wins that game, they move to the next round.
If they lose, they go home, but a draw might also be enough if Wales doesn't beat England.
India conceded three second-half goals to lose 2-4 to England in their second Pool D match of the men's Hockey World Cup in Amstelveen on Monday.
Nicholas Bandurak scored twice for England, in the 13th and 54th minutes, while Stuart Rushmere (38th) and Henry Croft (42nd) added goals.
India had taken a 2-1 lead through captain Harmanpreet Singh (16th) and Dilpreet Singh (24th).
England secured their second straight win, taking six points and clinching a second-round spot, while India sit second in Pool D with three points.
India must beat or draw Pakistan on Wednesday to reach the second round; a defeat would knock them out, and a draw could come down to goal difference if Wales beat England.
