Temple Acquires Longevous Ahead of Experimental Wearable Launch

Deepinder Goyal’s company Temple has acquired a London-based practice called Longevous.

Longevous studies ways to help people stay healthier for longer.

Its founders, Robert Mohr and Avi Roy, will now work full-time at Temple.

Mohr will become the company’s chief medical officer.

Roy will become its head of science.

Temple is developing a small device worn near the side of the head.

The company says it can measure signals related to blood flow and oxygen levels in the brain.

Mohr and Roy tested the device for about two months and reviewed Temple’s early scientific work.

However, the device’s main scientific claims have not yet been confirmed by published peer-reviewed research.
