Abhijit Dipke's AAP ties exposed amid CJP NEET protest

Abhijit Dipke is a young man who started a group called the Cockroach Janta Party, or CJP.

The group said it wanted to help students upset about cheating in a big exam called NEET.

Dipke said he was an independent voice with no political party behind him.

But old posts on X (formerly Twitter) show he may have been working with a political party called the Aam Aadmi Party, or AAP, for many years.

In 2018, a woman named Aarti Chadha, who worked on AAP's social media team, posted a photo of him and praised him as a passionate supporter.

Other AAP members also wished him happy birthday and called him a dedicated member of the party family.

One of his own old tweets said he was 'still with AAP and will always be with AAP.'

Dipke ran the group from the United States while thousands of students gathered at Jantar Mantar in Delhi to protest.

At the protest, some speakers talked about politics instead of the exam, and people shouted 'Azadi,' which means freedom.

Many students felt tricked because the protest may not have been as independent as they were told.
