Bihar's Model Schools to be Painted Saffron

The Bihar government has decided to paint all 551 Model Schools in the state saffron.

These schools, now renamed Saraswati Vidya Niketan, were inaugurated by Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary.

The schools will have modern digital infrastructure, e-libraries, smart classrooms, and free JEE and NEET coaching.

However, the decision to paint the schools saffron has drawn criticism from the Opposition and the JD(U), who argue that education has no color and should not be aligned with any specific color.

They also express concern about the placement of donors' names on the school signage.

The BJP, on the other hand, defends the move, stating that the choice of color represents energy and positivity and that the Opposition is unnecessarily politicizing the issue.
