Apple Overhauls Siri with AI Chatbot
Apple is making big changes to Siri, its digital assistant.
They are adding a new feature called 'Campos' that will make Siri more like a chatbot.
This means Siri will be able to have more natural conversations, remember what you talk about, and do more complex tasks.
For example, you can ask Siri to find a photo, edit it, or even write an email using details from your calendar.
Apple is also working with Google to make this new Siri smarter.
The new Siri will be shown off at a big event in June and will be available to everyone later in the year.
Apple is also making sure that Siri will keep your information private and won't store too much of your conversation history.
Apple is developing a fully conversational AI version of Siri, codenamed 'Campos', expected to debut with iOS 27.
The new Siri will focus on natural conversations, better context awareness, and the ability to handle multi-step tasks.
Users will activate Siri the same way but experience a more fluid and human-like interaction.
The chatbot experience is separate from the Siri refresh arriving with iOS 26.4, which adds practical enhancements.
Apple is expected to preview the upgraded Siri during its Worldwide Developers Conference in June, with a public rollout likely around September.
