Kota Poll Results Delayed as EVM Glitches Trigger Re-Poll
India News Live Updates, 15 September 2026: EVM glitches delay Kota civic poll results, re-poll tomorrow · indianexpress.com

The Bharatiya Janata Party won most seats in the Kota city election.

It won 55 wards, while the Indian National Congress won 40 and Independents won three.

Some results were not announced because election machines reportedly had problems.

Officials will hold voting again in three Kota wards and one ward in Suket on September 16.

They plan to count those votes on September 17.

Indian National Congress candidate Laxmi Sharma protested and said the Ward 87 process needed to be transparent.

The Supreme Court also has several important hearings scheduled.

Separately, Air India received a notice after three Italian passengers reportedly left Delhi without completing immigration checks before flying to Munich.
