Two pilots dead after helicopter crash fighting Utah wildfire

Two helicopter pilots were fighting a big fire in Utah when their helicopter crashed.

Sadly, the pilots did not survive.

The helicopter was called a Skycrane, and it is used to carry water to put out fires.

When it crashed, it started a new fire that joined the big fire already burning.

The big fire has now burned almost 174 square miles of land, which is a very large area.

For a while, firefighters could not reach the crash site because of the flames.

On Saturday, they got there and confirmed that the pilots had died.

Other people in the story also died or had to leave their homes because of fires.

In British Columbia, more than 20,000 people had to evacuate because of another fast-moving fire.

Investigators will study the crash to figure out what went wrong, but it may take a year or more.
