Singapore Considers Return to Amaravati Project with Rider
Singapore is thinking about helping Andhra Pradesh build its new capital, Amaravati, again.
They stopped helping in 2019 when the government changed.
Now, they want to join back in, but only if the Indian central government says it's okay.
They won't be giving money this time, but they will help with their knowledge to build things like roads and buildings.
The leaders of Andhra Pradesh went to Singapore to talk about it, and they also talked to people in the central government to get their approval.
Singapore is considering re-entering the Amaravati development project after opting out in 2019.
Singapore's renewed interest is contingent upon support from the Central government.
The partnership will focus on technical support for infrastructure development.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and his son visited Singapore to discuss the project.
The state government is seeking the Centre's blessing for Singapore's re-entry.
