Delhi Liquor Shops Close Early Amid Protests

Delhi Liquor Shops Close Early Amid Protests

In Delhi, students are protesting at Jantar Mantar because of a big problem with a test called NEET.

They say the test had a leak, and some students who took it felt so bad that they hurt themselves.

The students wanted the education minister to step down because they blamed him for what happened.

Because of these protests, the government decided that liquor shops in Delhi should close earlier than usual, at 8 PM instead of 10 PM, until the weekend was over.

This was to keep things calm and safe.

The protests had been going on for a few days, and one of them even turned violent, with people getting hurt.

Additionally, 18 metro stations were closed to manage the situation.

The government has now accepted the resignation of the education minister and agreed to the protesters' demands, leading to the withdrawal of the student agitation.
