CRDA Approves ₹1,437-Crore Infrastructure Push for Amaravati Villages

The Andhra Pradesh government approved a large plan to improve 29 villages around Amaravati.

The plan includes roads, drains, water pipes, and streetlights.

It also aims to provide more drinking water to people in these villages.

New public buildings, including a library and an auditorium, will be built at Sakhamuru.

Roads will use bitumen instead of concrete after studies by road and engineering experts.

Some land will be offered for homes, shops, offices, hotels, and schools.

Amaravati will also work on a district cooling system and green-energy projects.

Water supply to Mangalagiri is planned to increase from 30 million litres a day to 80 million litres over 30 years.

The reports give different details about how much loan relief participating farmers may receive and which loans qualify.
