Couple Uses Points for Rs 17,000 Europe-Delhi Business Flight

Prakriti and Ashish wanted to fly in business class from Europe to Delhi.

Normally, the two tickets would have cost more than Rs 4 lakh.

Instead, they used points collected from credit card spending.

They transferred 100,000 Axis points into Air Canada Aeroplan.

This gave them enough points to book two award seats.

They found the seats only five days before flying.

They paid about Rs 17,000 for taxes and fees, not for the full tickets.

The flights included comfortable seats, meals, drinks and bedding.
