CBI Probes 2017 Death of Delhi Hotel Graduate
A young man named Arnav Duggal was found dead in his girlfriend's flat in Delhi in 2017.
The police initially said he committed suicide, but his family didn't believe them.
They went to court, and the court asked the CBI, a special police agency, to investigate.
The CBI is now looking into how Arnav died and whether the police made any mistakes in their original investigation.
The family thinks something bad happened to Arnav, and they want the truth to come out.
CBI has taken over the investigation into the 2017 death of Arnav Duggal, a hotel management graduate, after his family alleged foul play.
Arnav's body was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his girlfriend's flat in Dwarka, Delhi, on June 13, 2017.
The Delhi High Court directed the CBI to probe the case after the family claimed the Delhi Police's investigation was shoddy and unfair.
The CBI is re-examining evidence and will also investigate any lapses by the Delhi Police in their original investigation.
The family alleged irregularities, including the disappearance of key photographs from the police case file, and sought a transfer of the probe to the CBI.
