UPESSC to Launch E-Requisition Portal for 24,000 Teaching Posts
The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) is about to launch a new online portal called the e-requisition portal.
This portal will help schools and colleges in Uttar Pradesh to apply for teaching jobs that are currently empty.
There are about 24,000 teaching jobs available, including jobs for assistant professors, principals, headmasters, and other teachers.
The portal has been tested and is ready to go live soon.
Once it's live, the schools and colleges can submit their requests for teachers, and the UPESSC will start the process of filling these jobs.
This is a big step because before this portal, the process was delayed.
Now, things can move forward more quickly.
UPESSC is launching an e-requisition portal to streamline teacher recruitment.
The portal will allow Higher and Secondary Education Directorates to submit online requisitions for vacant teaching posts.
Technical testing of the portal has been completed by the National Informatics Centre and the Commission.
Around 24,000 teaching posts are proposed to be filled, including various roles in aided colleges and schools.
The recruitment process is expected to begin soon, though some categories may take longer due to pending regulations.
