ISRO Commits to Sustainable Space Exploration, Says VSSC Director
Imagine rockets that are kind to the Earth!
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is working hard to make space travel more environmentally friendly.
The director of VSSC, Mr. Nair, said that they are committed to using new, clean technologies in their rockets.
This means they're using things like special fuels that are better for the planet.
He also talked about how important it is for scientists and engineers to create these new solutions, making space exploration sustainable.
He mentioned the advancements in using eco-friendly systems using semi-cryogenic, cryogenic and Liquid Oxygen-Methane propellants.
A conference, EVINCE 2025, was held to discuss these ideas and the role of artificial intelligence and manufacturing in creating these materials.
S. Unnikrishnan Nair, VSSC Director, discussed ISRO's commitment to sustainable space exploration.
