Flash Flood Devastates Nepal’s Bhote Koshi and Trishuli Corridors
Nepal flood fury: Homes swept away, bridges vanish, villages buried · rediff.com

A very large flash flood hit parts of Nepal.

Fast-moving water, mud, rocks and debris damaged homes, roads and bridges.

Rasuwa and Nuwakot were among the hardest-hit areas.

About 60 houses near Trishuli Bazaar were reportedly washed away.

Many bridges and roads can no longer be used, making it difficult for rescuers to reach isolated communities.

Power projects and a school were also damaged.

Rescue teams are searching rivers and affected villages for survivors and victims.

Families are gathering at a hospital in Chitwan to identify people who remain missing.

Authorities are still assessing the full damage.
