Allahabad University Prepares for NAAC Accreditation Visit
Imagine a school wanting to get a good report card from a special team called NAAC.
The University of Allahabad, also known as AU, is getting ready for this team to visit.
NAAC checks how good the school is, like if the teachers are great and if the buildings are nice.
AU is hoping to get an 'A' grade this time.
They've been working hard, adding new buildings and hiring more teachers.
The NAAC team will look at many things, including how students do after they leave and if they are doing research.
The school wants this good grade because it helps them get money and work with other schools.
The University of Allahabad (AU) is hosting the NAAC team from May 27-29.
The assessment is for the second time since gaining Central status in 2005.
AU aims to improve from a ‘B++' grade to an ‘A' grade.
The university has added infrastructure and filled faculty positions.
The accreditation determines eligibility for grants and academic recognition.
