CJP spokesperson Saurav Das files complaint over unlawful residence filming
A man named Saurav Das works as the main spokesperson for a political party called the Cockroach Janta Party.
He says some people who make videos on the internet came to his house when he was not at home.
He believes they went inside without permission and filmed the place.
He says that is wrong and against the law.
He also says these people talked to his neighbours and his security guard to learn private things about him.
The videos, he says, showed everyone where his house is and how it is protected.
He is worried this could put him and his family in danger.
So he asked the police in Delhi to take action against those people.
The police say they have not started a full case yet.
For now, they are checking his complaint to find out what really happened.
Saurav Das, chief spokesperson and co-founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), filed a complaint with Delhi Police over social media handles allegedly entering and filming his Greater Kailash residence in his absence.
The complaint names YouTube channels The Pamphlet and The Jaipur Dialogues, and claims political commentator Abhijeet Iyer Mitra drew attention to the residence and invaded his privacy.
Das sought an FIR under sections 329, 351 and 356 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for alleged criminal house-trespass, criminal intimidation, defamation and criminal conspiracy.
He alleged the YouTubers questioned his caretaker, security staff and neighbours about his private affairs, and that the videos exposed the residence's security arrangements and layout.
Delhi Police sources said no case has been registered so far, with the complaint being verified and investigation underway.
