CDGA Honors Teyana Taylor & Michelle Cole

The Costume Designers Guild is giving special awards to Teyana Taylor and Michelle Cole.

Teyana Taylor is getting the Vanguard Spotlight Award for being a trailblazer in many areas like acting, directing, and music.

Michelle Cole is receiving the Career Achievement Award for her long and successful career in costume design, which has spanned over 40 years.

Both awards will be presented at the 28th CDGA Awards Gala in Los Angeles.

Teyana Taylor is also nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in the movie One Battle After Another.

Michelle Cole has worked on many popular TV shows and has been nominated for nine Emmys.

She is also known for mentoring others in her field.
