Vignan’s Chairman Emphasizes Discipline and Moral Values
A university in India had a special event for new students starting their engineering studies.
The head of the university, Dr. Lavu Rathaiah, talked about how important it is to be disciplined, have good values, and keep learning.
He said that doing well in exams is important, but so is becoming a good person overall.
He also talked about how the university helps students by giving them mentors and teaching them important skills like teamwork and communication.
Other important people at the university also gave advice, like setting goals and never giving up.
They all agreed that being successful is not just about starting well but also about finishing strong.
B Tech first-year classes at Vignan’s University began with an orientation programme attended by students and their parents.
Dr. Lavu Rathaiah, Chairman of Vignan’s Educational Institutions, emphasized the importance of discipline, moral values, and continuous learning.
The university’s success is driven by five key principles: faculty development, planning and training, counseling, campus recruitment training, and innovative teaching methods.
The counseling system at Vignan’s involves one faculty member mentoring every 20 students to monitor progress and nurture talents.
Other speakers, including the Vice-Chancellor and University Advisor, encouraged students to set clear goals, maintain discipline, and develop a lifelong passion for learning.
