Alonso compares Chelsea’s Joao Pedro to Benzema after strong start

Joao Pedro is a football player for Chelsea.

He had a very good start to the new Premier League season.

In Chelsea’s first two league games, he scored two goals and made two assists.

He helped Chelsea beat Fulham and Brighton.

Because of these performances, he won the Player of the Month award for August.

His manager, Xabi Alonso, said Pedro can do many different things on the field.

Alonso compared him to Karim Benzema, a famous former Real Madrid striker.

Pedro is 24 years old and still has more skills to develop.
