Telugu Actress Bhargavi Murdered; Live-in Partner Dies in Suicide
A long time ago, in 2008, there was an actress in India named Bhargavi who acted in Telugu movies.
She was getting famous and people loved her movie called Ashta Chamma.
One morning, Bhargavi was found very hurt in her home, and sadly she had passed away.
Her close friend and partner, whose name was Praveen, was also found, and he had drunk poison.
The police studied what happened and said that Praveen hurt Bhargavi and then hurt himself.
Someone found a letter that Praveen had written.
The letter said that they both decided to go away because Bhargavi's mother did not want them to meet.
But the police and Bhargavi's family said the letter was not telling the truth.
Bhargavi's family also said she was never married to Praveen, even though the letter said they were.
It is a very sad story about a young actress whose life ended too soon.
Telugu actress Bhargavi was found dead with seven stab wounds at her Banjara Hills home in Hyderabad on December 16, 2008.
Her live-in partner, Praveen 'Bujji' Kumar, was found with his head in her lap and died from cyanide poisoning.
Police said Praveen stabbed Bhargavi before consuming poison, contradicting initial reports of a double suicide.
A suicide note allegedly written by Praveen claimed the pair chose suicide because her mother would not allow them to meet; police said the note contained lies.
At her death, Bhargavi was shooting for Holidays and had about 10 other films in development, following her breakthrough role in Ashta Chamma.
