India Developing K-6 Hypersonic Missile for Naval Power
India is working on a super-fast missile called the K-6 that can be launched from submarines.
This missile is being made at a lab in Hyderabad and is for a special type of submarine called S-5.
The K-6 can fly incredibly fast, about seven times faster than the speed of sound, and can go as far as 8,000 kilometers.
It can carry both regular and nuclear weapons.
This missile will make India's navy stronger, putting it in the same league as other powerful countries.
India is developing the K-6 hypersonic missile for submarine launch.
The K-6 is being developed at DRDO’s Advanced Naval Systems Laboratory in Hyderabad.
The missile is designed for the S-5 class nuclear-powered submarines.
The K-6 will have a range of 8,000 kilometers and a speed of 7.5 Mach.
The missile can carry both conventional and nuclear warheads.
