Crystal Palace signs Israeli winger Anan Khalaili from Union SG
A football club called Crystal Palace, which plays in the English Premier League, has signed a new player named Anan Khalaili.
Anan is 21 years old and plays on the right side of the attack.
He used to play for a club in Belgium called Royale Union Saint-Gilloise.
Before that, he learned football at his hometown club, Maccabi Haifa, in Israel.
Anan almost joined another famous club, Inter Milan, a few weeks ago.
But that move did not happen because he did not get medical clearance.
Inter's president explained that Italy has very strict rules to protect players' health.
A decision was made by an independent body, not by the club.
Now Crystal Palace will pay about 24.5 million euros for Anan.
Anan has also played 16 times for the Israel national team.

The 21-year-old developed at hometown club Maccabi Haifa before joining Union Saint-Gilloise in 2024 and has made 16 appearances for Israel.
Khalaili is Crystal Palace's fifth summer signing after Óscar Mingueza, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Dwight McNeil and Evann Guessand.
