GHMC Takes Over 27 ULBs Services
The GHMC in Hyderabad is now handling all the services that were previously managed by 27 smaller local bodies.
These services include things like building permits, birth and death certificates, and trade licenses.
All the documents will now have the GHMC logo on them.
The GHMC will also be responsible for giving permits for tall buildings, which used to be handled by a different organization.
The people who were in charge of these smaller local bodies will now work under the GHMC.
This change is meant to make things more organized and easier to manage.
GHMC now handles all services of 27 merged ULBs, including building permits, birth and death certificates, and trade licenses.
All documents will bear the GHMC logo.
Building permits for high-rise structures will be granted by the GHMC head office.
Municipal commissioners of the 20 municipalities have been made deputy commissioners under GHMC.
Applications are being processed through the BuildNow system.
