Ananya's 'Navaratnam' Enthralls Hyderabad Audience

Ananya's 'Navaratnam' Enthralls Hyderabad Audience

Ananya, a young Bharatanatyam dancer from Germany, performed a special dance production called 'Navaratnam' in Hyderabad.

This dance was not just a normal Bharatanatyam performance; it was a storytelling experience that celebrated India's nine gems, known as Navaratnas, and their connection to the Navagrahas.

Ananya used Bharatanatyam to show the audience the colors, energies, and importance of these gems.

Each part of the dance was about a different gemstone, like ruby, pearl, emerald, and more.

The dance was very imaginative and combined mythology, astrology, Carnatic music, and Bharatanatyam.

The music was rhythmic, and the choreography was elegant.

The evening started with a violin recital by Ananya's father, S. P. Subrahmanyam, which combined Carnatic music with contemporary music.

The audience was very impressed and found the performance both beautiful and spiritually enriching.
