Mumbai’s Ganesh festival began on September 14, 2026.

People welcomed Lord Ganesha into homes and public celebration areas.

Many devotees visited famous pandals to pray and see decorated idols.

Lalbaugcha Raja attracted especially large crowds during its 93rd year.

Mumbaicha Raja displayed a 22-foot-tall idol with retro-style decorations.

Chinchpoklicha Chintamani also welcomed many visitors during its 107th year.

Some mandals are offering live broadcasts so people can pray from home.

Police, volunteers and emergency teams are helping control the crowds.

The festival will end with immersion processions on September 25.
