Mumbai's Sewri TB Hospital to Get Staff Boost
The Sewri TB Hospital in Mumbai is hiring!
They're looking for doctors and other medical staff to help patients.
This follows complaints about not enough doctors being available.
The government is working to solve the problem by filling 40 temporary positions.
The hospital needs specialists to take care of very sick patients in the intensive care unit, and other important medical staff.
They will prioritize candidates who have experience in treating tuberculosis.
BMC is recruiting for 40 contractual posts at Sewri TB Hospital in Mumbai.
The recruitment follows concerns raised during the monsoon session regarding a shortage of specialist doctors.
Posts include specialist medical consultants, intensivists, medical officers, and a physiotherapist.
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde stated that four intensivist posts were approved in March 2024.
Candidates with TB experience will be preferred; however, the experience may be relaxed.
