Tata Power Completes 300 MW Solar Project for NHPC in Rajasthan
Tata Power finished building a big solar farm in Rajasthan for another company.
It's expected to make lots of clean energy.
They hired many local people to help build it, and it's part of their plan to make more renewable energy.
Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL) commissioned NHPC’s 300 MW solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
The project uses advanced DCR cells and bifacial modules, installed over harsh desert terrain.
It is expected to generate an estimated 17,230 million units of green energy over its lifetime.
TPREL employed around 300 local workers and developed local vendors during the project.
The commissioning adds 4.9 GW to TPREL’s third-party project portfolio, with total renewable utility capacity reaching 11.6 GW.
