Navi Mumbai Ganpati Pandal Highlights Tukaram Mundhe’s Food Safety Work

A Ganpati pandal in Airoli has created a special decoration about food safety.

Lord Ganesha remains at the center of the display.

Around the idol are newspaper-style panels, photographs and pictures connected to Tukaram Mundhe.

Mundhe is the commissioner of Maharashtra’s Food and Drug Administration.

His department works on food and drug safety rules.

The decoration draws attention to cleanliness and hygiene in restaurants and other food businesses.

Organizers used the festival to share a public-interest message.

The 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival runs from September 14 to September 25, 2026.
