Dow Jones Hits Record High
The Dow Jones, which is a big group of important companies, went up a lot on Monday.
It even reached a new record high!
This happened even though there were some worries about the US and Venezuela having problems, and some economic concerns.
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq, which are other groups of companies, also went up a little bit.
Some companies that do banking and work with oil did really well.
The price of oil, gold, and silver also changed, but the market seemed to be happy and ignored the bad news.
It's like when you're playing a game and your team is winning, so you don't worry about the small problems.
Dow Jones gained nearly 600 points to end at a record high on Monday.
S&P 500 and Nasdaq also closed with gains of 0.6% and 0.7% respectively.
Banking and energy stocks, including Goldman Sachs, Chevron, and Exxon, contributed to the gains.
Market shrugged off US actions in Venezuela and economic concerns.
Brent Crude is back above $62 per barrel, Gold prices near $4,500 an ounce, and Silver prices at $77 an ounce.
