Punjab CM clarifies remarks before Akal Takht
The leader of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann, went to a special place called Akal Takht to explain some things he said about Sikh traditions.
He brought a lot of papers with complaints about how some Sikh places are being run.
He said he respects the Akal Takht and will follow whatever they decide.
He also said some videos showing him being disrespectful are fake.
The Akal Takht is like the highest authority for Sikhs, and they can ask important people to come and explain themselves if they do something wrong.
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann appeared before Akal Takht Secretariat on January 15 to clarify remarks on Sikh traditions.
Mann submitted 25,000 to 30,000 pages of complaints about SGPC's functioning to the Jathedar.
He claimed videos showing disrespect towards Sikh Gurus and Bhindranwale are fake or AI-generated.
Mann stated the SIT formed to probe missing Guru Granth Sahib saroops is not politically motivated.
He sought Jathedar's direction to SGPC for unique codes of saroops to facilitate tracing.
