Minumuluru Panchayat creates sustainable rural assets
Minumuluru Gram Panchayat in Alluri Sitarama Raju district has done something amazing.
They used a big prize money of Rs 8 lakh to build two shops.
These shops will make money for the village forever.
A special officer, PS Kumar, visited and was very happy with what they did.
He said the village has good meetings and everyone works together.
The government also noticed and wrote about the village in a special book.
The officer told them to finish setting up electricity and rent out the shops fairly.
This way, the village can make its own money and not depend on prizes.
Everyone in the village, including the leaders, worked hard to make this happen.
It's a great example for other villages to follow.
Minumuluru Gram Panchayat used an Rs 8 lakh grant to build two commercial shops.
The initiative aims to create permanent income-generating assets for the village.
Divisional Panchayat Officer PS Kumar praised the project for its long-term vision and financial discipline.
The Ministry of Panchayat Raj featured Minumuluru’s achievements in its compendium.
The officer directed the completion of electricity connections and transparent rental processes for the shops.
