MP TET Deadline Extended Amid Low Teacher Applications

Nearly 1.5 lakh teachers may need to take it.
So far, more than 7,500 teachers have applied, including about 2,500 government teachers.
Because the response was low, the application deadline was moved to September 18.
Teachers can fix mistakes in their forms until September 20.
Some teachers asked for a paper-based test because they are not comfortable using computers.
Officials are arranging or considering this offline option, while teachers’ groups are also asking for the Rs 1,000 fee to be waived.
