Nadia Weavers Craft Seamless Handwoven Tricolour as Independence Day Tribute

India's flag is called the Tricolour because it has three colours: saffron, white and green.

Usually, the flag is made by sewing three separate pieces of coloured cloth together.

Some very skilled weavers in a place called Phulia, in West Bengal, are doing something amazing.

They are weaving the whole flag as one single piece of cloth, with all three colours woven together.

They even wove the blue Ashoka Chakra wheel into the middle of the flag.

The weavers use a special style of weaving called Tangail, which comes from a very old tradition.

The government helped them with this special project.

Their beautiful flags will be sent to the President of India, the Prime Minister, and other important leaders.

This is their special gift to the country before Independence Day, when India celebrates being free.
