India's Poultry Exports Double in H1FY26 Driven by Middle East Demand
Imagine India makes a lot of eggs and chicken.
Recently, many countries in the Middle East, like the UAE and Oman, wanted to buy more eggs from India.
This is because other countries that usually sell eggs to them had problems and couldn't sell as many.
India's eggs are good quality, so these Middle Eastern countries are buying a lot.

India's poultry exports surged to approximately $149 million in the first half of FY26, more than doubling from $71.16 million in the same period last year.
The United Arab Emirates has emerged as the largest buyer of Indian eggs, surpassing Oman, which has traditionally been the top importer.
Global supply shortages from countries like Turkey and Iran due to production issues have bolstered demand for Indian poultry products in the Middle East.
The All India Poultry Exporters Association anticipates sustained strong demand until January, expecting a favorable financial year for poultry exports.
India's total egg production is estimated at 142.77 billion in 2023-24, with Andhra Pradesh being the largest producing state.
