Endrick Joins Lyon on Loan

Endrick, a young and talented Brazilian footballer, has moved from Real Madrid to Olympique Lyon on a temporary basis.

This means he will play for Lyon from January until the end of June 2026.

Lyon will pay half of his salary, and there's no option for Lyon to buy him permanently.

This move is seen as a great opportunity for Endrick to gain more experience playing in a different league and to potentially secure a spot in the Brazilian squad for the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Both Real Madrid and Lyon are happy with this arrangement, and Lyon even joked that this is an early Christmas gift for their fans.

Endrick previously played for Palmeiras and joined Real Madrid in July 2024 for a reported transfer fee of 47.5 million euros.

In his time at Real Madrid, he played 40 matches and scored seven goals, but his playing time decreased after a change in coaching staff.
