Newspaper Reading Made Mandatory in UP Skill Centers
The Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission has made it a rule that all its training centers must start each session with reading newspapers.
This is to help the students learn better communication, improve their general knowledge, and think more critically.
The mission runs over 800 centers in 75 districts and trains more than 100,000 people.
The idea is to make the students more informed and responsible citizens by helping them understand current events and improve their writing and speaking skills.
Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) mandates newspaper reading in all its training centers.
The directive applies to over 800 centers across 75 districts, training more than 1 lakh people.
Newspaper reading aims to enhance soft skills, general knowledge, and analytical thinking.
The practice is intended to improve communication, vocabulary, and writing styles through editorials.
The initiative also focuses on character building, concentration, and empathy among trainees.
