Skoda Targets Sedan Growth With Facelifted Slavia

Skoda Targets Sedan Growth With Facelifted Slavia

Skoda has introduced an updated version of its Slavia car in India.

It costs ₹10 lakh at its introductory price.

The update changes the car’s look and adds features, small interior changes and a new eight-speed automatic gearbox.

Skoda says it has sold nearly 80,000 Slavia cars since 2022.

The company hopes the updated car will help sales grow by 22-25%.

Sedans have been losing popularity as more buyers choose SUVs.

Skoda says sedans still matter to its plans and identity.

It is also working to open more sales and service touch points in Indian cities.
