Breach Candy Residents Raise Coastal Gardens Traffic Concerns

Breach Candy Residents Raise Coastal Gardens Traffic Concerns

Breach Candy residents are worried about a planned project called the Coastal Gardens.

They say it could bring more cars and traffic to their neighbourhood.

They are also concerned about parking and keeping pedestrians safe.

The residents’ group will meet on September 5 to discuss these issues.

They want an exit from the Coastal Road at Napean Sea Road.

They believe this exit would help spread traffic across different roads.

Officials say no decision has been made about that exit or a possible flyover.

The proposed gardens would use about 65 hectares of reclaimed land and include paths, entrances, courts and fields.
