KTM Resumes Production in Austria After Restructuring
KTM, a motorcycle company, has started making bikes again in Austria.
They had to stop for a while because of money problems and fewer sales.
They stopped twice but restarted in March 2025 and again on July 28, 2025.
KTM's Indian partner, Bajaj Auto, gave them €800 million to help.
They are now making dirt bikes and bikes like the 690 Enduro R. This is good news for the over 1,000 employees and related brands such as Husqvarna and GasGas.
KTM restarted motorcycle production in Mattighofen, Austria.
Production was halted in December 2024 and restarted in mid-March 2025.
A second halt occurred on April 28, 2025 due to supply chain issues.
Restart includes off-road and LC4 platform models.
