The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced the schedule and rules for the Class 12 exams in 2026.

These exams include Semester 4, Semester 3 Supplementary, and Higher Secondary exams under the old system.

The exams will be held from February 12 to 27, 2026.

Admit cards for Semester 4 and Supplementary exams will be available online for school heads to download.

For the old system, admit cards will be given offline on January 28, 2026.

Students must bring their admit cards, registration certificates, and stationery in transparent pouches.

They cannot borrow anything during the exam.

The council has listed items that are not allowed, like electronic gadgets and bags.

Only students in the old system can use certain calculators.

The exams will be at specific times each day.

The council has also set rules to prevent cheating.

Students who break the rules may have their exams canceled and could be punished.

Some government-aided schools are asking for “caution money” from Madhyamik examinees to prevent vandalism.

This money will be used to compensate for any damage to furniture if students vandalize other institutions during their examinations in 2026.

Madhyamik exams will start on February 2, 2026.
