Resident Evil 9 Ditches Leon Kennedy for New Hero, Horror Focus
Capcom is making a new Resident Evil game called Requiem (RE9).
This time, you won't play as Leon S. Kennedy.
Instead, you'll play as a new character named Grace Ashcroft, an FBI analyst.
The game wants to be scary, like Resident Evil 7, focusing on fear.
It's set in the old Raccoon City, 30 years after a big explosion.
The game is single-player and comes out on February 27, 2026.
