Hanuman Ansh 2 May Match First Film’s Budget, Producer Says
The makers are planning a second Hanuman Ansh film.
Producer Anupriya Nagar said it may not need a much bigger budget than the first movie.
She believes more money does not always make a film better.
Extra money could lead to unnecessary visual effects or artificial intelligence use.
The team wants the film’s historical world to feel authentic.
The first movie cost slightly more than Rs 1.5 crore but less than Rs 2 crore.
The sequel could cost more if its story needs it.
A release date is not known because the director is working on another film and the team has not discussed the sequel in detail.
Producer Anupriya Nagar said Hanuman Ansh 2 may use a budget similar to the first film.
She said spending Rs 10 crore or Rs 20 crore would not automatically improve the sequel.
The first Hanuman Ansh was made for slightly more than Rs 1.5 crore but below Rs 2 crore.
The makers will increase the sequel’s budget only if the story requires a larger scale.
No release timeline has been announced because the director has signed another film and project discussions are pending.
