Maharashtra Forms Panel to Overhaul Government Recruitment Exams

Maharashtra Forms Panel to Overhaul Government Recruitment Exams

Maharashtra is changing how it conducts exams for government jobs.

The state created a committee with seven members to study the current system.

The committee will look for ways to make exams safer and more transparent.

This happened after controversies involving question paper leaks.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had called for a full review at a meeting on August 12.

The committee was formally created through an order issued on September 4.

Speaker Rahul Narwekar said the changes would help students and society.

Deputy Chairman Sachin Ahir said clearer rules would make it easier to decide who is responsible when problems occur.
