FSSAI Bans FOLINEURO Syrup, Neuherbs TRUE VITAMIN for Misleading Claims
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, or FSSAI, is a government agency that makes sure food sold in India is safe and honest.
They found that two companies were selling products with false or confusing claims.
One product, called FOLINEURO Syrup, was said to help the brain, but it didn’t actually do that.
The other product, called Neuherbs TRUE VITAMIN, used a name that could trick people into thinking it was a real vitamin.
Because of this, FSSAI stopped the sale of both products.
The companies must stop selling them, fix their labels, and tell the regulator what they did in 30 days.
If they don’t, they could face legal trouble.
FSSAI issued prohibition orders against Vatave Healthcare and Global Healthfit Retail.
FOLINEURO Syrup was banned for claiming brain‑supporting benefits.
Neuherbs TRUE VITAMIN’s trade name was deemed misleading and prohibited.
Companies must stop sales, remove claims, and submit action reports within 30 days.
Violations could trigger strict legal and penal action.
